Estonia has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 30 times since making its debut in . Its first appearance would have taken place in but a qualification round was installed for seven former Eastern Bloc countries hoping to make their debut in the contest, with Estonia failing to qualify. Dave Benton
Efrén Eugene Benita (born 31 January 1951), also known as Dave Benton, is an Aruban-born Estonian pop musician. He won the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 along Tanel Padar and 2XL with the song " Everybody" representing ; becoming the oldest singer ever to win the contest. Elina Nechayeva
Elina Nechayeva (; born 10 November 1991) is an Estonian soprano. She represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, with the song " La forza". Career In 2009, she made her public debut in the third season of ''Eesti otsib superstaari'', where she participated, but was eliminated in the preliminary girls' round. She graduated from Tallinn French School in 2011. She participated in the ETV competition ''Klassikatähed 2014'' and was one of the three finalists. In 2016, she graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with a master's degree in classical singing. Nechayeva was one of the hosts for the semi-finals of '' Eesti Laul 2017'', along with Marko Reikop. La Forza (song)
"La forza" (; " heStrength" or " heForce") is a song recorded by Estonian singer Elina Nechayeva, released on 22 January 2018 by Timulition. The track was written by Ksenia Kuchukova, Elina Nechayeva, Mihkel Mattisen and Timo Vendt. Mihkel Mattisen previously wrote the 2013 Estonian entry for Eurovision, "Et uus saaks alguse" for Birgit, while Timo Vendt did the same in 2014, writing " Amazing" for Tanja. The demo version of the song was written by Timo Vendt, and Mihkel Mattisen composed the melody specifically for Elina Nechayeva, taking into account her vocal range and unique voice characteristics. Mart Normet, the producer of the Estonian competition Eesti Laul, asked the authors to rework the song’s production, as the instrumental was dominating the vocals. Stig Rästa
Raul-Stig Rästa (born 24 February 1980) is an Estonian singer and songwriter who, along with singer Elina Born, represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song " Goodbye to Yesterday". Since 2025, Rästa has been a member of the 15th Riigikogu. Career Between 2002 and 2006 he formed a band Slobodan River with Ithaka Maria and Tomi Rahula. Elina Born (born 29 June 1994) is an Estonian singer. She represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 along with Stig Rästa with the song " Goodbye to Yesterday". She previously attempted to represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 with the song "Enough", and attempted to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 finishing last in the final.
