Éder (footballer, Born 1986)
Éder Citadin Martins (born 15 November 1986), simply known as Éder (; ), is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born in Brazil with Italian ancestry, Éder moved to Italy at age 19, where he spent most of his professional career (from 2006 to 2018). He began his career with Brazilian club Criciúma, and moved to Italian club Empoli in January 2006, spending most of his career in the country for clubs such as Empoli, Sampdoria and Inter Milan. In 2018, he moved to China, joining Inter Milan's sister club Jiangsu Suning. Following the club's dissolution in 2021, he returned to Brazil, joining São Paulo. Éder was born in Brazil, but qualifies to play for Italy through his Italian passport and more than two-years of residency in Italy. Ederzito António Macedo Lopes (born 22 December 1987), commonly known as Eder (), is a Portuguese former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He signed with Académica de Coimbra (football), Académica in 2008 from the lower leagues, and joined S.C. Braga, Braga four years later. Over seven seasons, he appeared in 143 Primeira Liga matches and scored 38 goals. Eder (Fulda)
The Eder () is a major river in Germany that begins in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia and passes in to Hesse, where it empties into the River Fulda (river), Fulda. History The river was first mentioned by the Ancient Rome, Roman historian Tacitus. In his Annals (Tacitus), Annals, he describes the Roman campaign against the Chatti under the command of Germanicus in 15 AD. Forty-five thousand soldiers of the Roman army destroyed the major centre of the Chatti, Mattium, directly after they crossed the ''Adrana'' (Eder). In the Middle Ages, the river was known by the names Aderna, Adarna and Adrina. On the banks of the Eder, in the town of Schwarzenau, near Bad Berleburg, a religious (Anabaptist) group was founded in August 1708; the Schwarzenau Brethren. Eight adults were completely baptism, baptised thrice in the Eder. This group emigrated to America where they are still to be found.
