The province of the West Java in Indonesia is divided into regencies and cities, which in turn are divided administratively into districts, known as ''kecamatan''. Provinces are the first-level administrative divisions of Indonesia. They were formerly called first-level provincial regions (), before the Post-Suharto era in Indonesia, Reform era. Tasikmalaya (also known as Tasik) is a landlocked city in West Java, Indonesia.
