Dimlim Albums
Dimlim (stylized in all caps) was a Japanese visual kei rock band established in 2017, currently on the label DUM LABEL with the members Sho, Retsu and Hiroshi. Career Formation, ''Various'' and ''Chedoara'' (2017–2018) The band was formed in April 2017 by Ryuya, former member of Deviloof, Issei, former member of D.I.D, Sho, Retsu and Tsubasa. They released their debut EP, ''Various (album), Various'', on June 3, 2017, exclusively at their oneman first show in Ikebukuro Black Hole. For official sale, the Extended play, EP was released on August 23, 2017, accompanied by the release of the video clip for Shoucho (初潮) on their official YouTube channel. Later, on November 9, Issei and Tsubasa left the band. According to Retsu, the band's name comes from "DIM", somber, and "LIM", gear. Math Rock
Math rock is a style of Alternative rock, alternative and indie rock with roots in bands such as King Crimson and Rush (band), Rush. It is characterized by complex, atypical rhythmic structures (including irregular stopping and starting), counterpoint, odd time signatures, and extended chords. Bearing similarities to post-rock, math rock has been described as the "opposite side of the same coin". Kyo (musician)
is a Japanese musician, singer, lyricist and poet. He is best known as the vocalist and lyricist of the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Dir En Grey. He was formerly in a string of visual kei rock bands, with the most notable being La:Sadie's from 1996 to 1997. When they disbanded, he formed Dir En Grey in February 1997 with three of its members. Kyo formed the experimental rock band Sukekiyo in 2013, and the supergroup (music), supergroup Petit Brabancon (band), Petit Brabancon in 2021. Career Kyo was inspired to become a musician when he saw a picture of Buck-Tick vocalist Atsushi Sakurai on the desk of a junior high school classmate. When he then discovered X Japan he was particularly fond of Hide (musician), hide and had his parents buy him the guitarist's black signature model guitar.
