Daylesford is a town located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, within the Shire of Hepburn, Victoria, Australia, approximately 114 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. Daylesford is a small, privately owned village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Adlestrop, in the Cotswold district, in the county of Gloucestershire, England, on the border with Oxfordshire. It is situated just south of the A436 two miles east of Stow-on-the-Wold and west of Chipping Norton. The village is on the north bank of the small River Evenlode. Daylesford station is a commuter rail station located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia at Glenn Avenue and Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains. Description The Daylesford station has no station building. There is a shelter for eastbound waiting passengers. This station replaced an older wooden shelter built by the Pennsylvania Railroad that was located on Lincoln Highway and Conestoga Lane. It was razed in 2000. Daylesford Abbey is a Roman Catholic monastery of Premonstratensians, Canons Regular of Premontre, located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles west of Philadelphia. The Abbey is named after Daylesford, Pennsylvania, where the Norbertine Fathers established the foundation that developed into the Abbey. Daylesford Football Netball Club, nicknamed the Bulldogs, is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the Victorian town of Daylesford. The club plays in the Central Highlands Football League. The club was formerly known as the Daylesford "Demons" until 2006, when they joined the Central Highlands Football League.
