Antonio José González García (born 27 November 1981), commonly known as Curro, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Don Benito as a midfielder. Club career Born in Santa Amalia, Badajoz, Extremadura, Curro represented CF Extremadura as a youth. After spending several years with the reserves, he made his first team debut on 10 October 2001, coming on as an extra-time substitute for goalscorer Pedro José in a 1–1 Copa del Rey home draw against CD Badajoz ( 2–4 loss on penalties). Francisco Romero López (; born 1 December 1933), better known as Curro Romero (), and nicknamed ''El Faraón de Camas'' ("The Pharaoh of Camas"), is a Spanish bullfighter. He began his professional career in his hometown's La Pañoleta neighbourhood on 22 August 1954, together with José Martínez Limeño. Early life Curro Romero was born on 1 December 1933 (although at least one source says 4 December 1933) in the Andalusian town of Camas into a very humble family. There, Romero lived at his uncle's house on the Calle de la Cruz, a narrow little laneway that was cold and damp. Francisco José "Curro" Sánchez Rodríguez (born 3 January 1996) is a Spanish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Burgos CF. Cristóbal Emilio "Curro" Torres Ruiz (born 27 December 1976) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a right-back, currently manager of Estonian club FCI Levadia Tallinn. John Ronald Curro (6 December 1932 – 6 November 2019) was an Australian violinist, violist, conductor and music director. Curro was the founder (1966) and Director of Music of the Queensland Youth Orchestras, with which he established the National Youth Concerto Competition (NYCC).
