Crud (band)
Crud is an American industrial rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 2000. History Crud was formed in 2000 by vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, guitarist Joey Mazzola, drummer Jimmy Paluzzi, and bassist Robby Graham. Vocalist Danielle Arsenault would join the group shortly after to complete the lineup. Dombroski, Mazzola, and Paluzzi are founding members of the band Sponge and formed Crud as a side project during Sponge's hiatus in 2000. Crud would go through some lineup changes but earned a following with their live performances. The band released their debut album, ''Devil at the Wheel'', in 2007. After some more lineup changes the group released their second album, ''On Monster Island'', in 2010. Crud’s music has been part of several television and film soundtracks, including ''Sons of Anarchy'' ("Devil at the Wheel") and '' CSI'' ("Man Goes Down"). Vinnie Dombroski
Vinnie Dombroski is an American musician, best known as the lead vocalist and main songwriter for the rock music, rock band Sponge (band), Sponge. He also fronted the short-lived supergroup (music), supergroup Spys4Darwin, and has been a member of several Detroit-based bands throughout his career. Dombroski is also the lead vocalist and co-founder of the Lucid alongside bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), guitarist Drew Fortier (ex-Bang Tango), and drummer Mike Heller (ex-Fear Factory). Career Loudhouse Dombroski played drums for the band Loudhouse, which would release one full-length album titled ''For Crying Out Loud'' in 1991. Side Project
In popular music, a side project is a project undertaken by one or more people already known for their involvement in another band. It can also be an artist or a band temporarily switching to a different style. Usually these projects emphasize a different aspect of that person's or that band's musical interests that they feel they cannot explore within the boundaries established by their main project. Side projects can later become full-time endeavours, but should not be confused with quitting a band for a solo career or another band. Peter Hartlaub of ''San Francisco Chronicle'' called the solo side project "the biggest longshot bet in mainstream music". Sponge is an American rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1992 by vocalist Vinnie Dombroski, guitarist Mike Cross, bassist Tim Cross, drummer Jimmy Paluzzi, and guitarist Joey Mazzola.
