Cristóbal Del Solar
Cristóbal Ignacio del Solar Leefhelm (born 11 October 1993) is a Chilean professional golfer. Del Solar played college golf at Florida State University, where he won one event, and was named to the All-ACC Team following his junior season. Del Solar began his professional career on PGA Tour Canada in 2017, where he played six events. In 2018, he was the medalist at the PGA Tour Latinoamérica qualifying tournament in Argentina. His first professional win came in the 2018 Center Open, which he won by five strokes. Returning to PGA Tour Latinoamérica in 2019, Del Solar won the Puerto Plata Open for his second career win as a professional. Viña del Mar (; meaning "Vineyard of the Sea") is a city and commune on central Chile's Pacific coast. 2012 Eisenhower Trophy
The 2012 Eisenhower Trophy took place 4–7 October on the PGA Sultan course at Antalya Golf Club and the Faldo course at Cornelia Golf Club in Antalya, Turkey. It was the 28th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 72 three-man teams. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. Each team was due to play two rounds on the two courses. A weather delay on the second morning meant that the second round was not completed until the third day and the event was reduced to 54 holes. The leading 36 teams played their third round at Antalya Golf Club with the remaining teams playing at Cornelia Golf Club. United States won their 14th Eisenhower Trophy, four strokes ahead of Mexico, who took the silver medal. France, Germany and South Korea tied for third place and took bronze medals. Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. Linus Lilliedahl (born 15 February 1994) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. In 2022, he was runner-up at the Argentine Open and the Argentina Classic. Early life and amateur career Lilliedahl was born in Nyköping and grew up in Sandviken. With both his parents golf instructors, he was a confident golfer by age three. At 15, he collected a title on the Skandia Tour, the domestic junior circuit. Lilliedahl played college golf the University of Missouri between 2014 and 2017.
