Crimson (Code Red Album)
Code Red were a British boy band, formed in 1994. Career Roger Ratajczak, Phillip Rodell, Neil Watts, and Lee Missen, formed themselves as the lineup for the vocal harmony group in 1994. The band were discovered by British producer and songwriter Nicky Graham and later signed by Polydor Records. They performed in the 1996 Great British Song Contest, at the time the UK's precursor to the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "I Gave You Everything", and finished as runners-up in the competition to Gina G. Their debut album ''Scarlet'' was released in 1997, and produced the UK hits "This Is Our Song", "Is There Someone Out There?" and a cover of the Tevin Campbell original, "Can We Talk". Additionally, the band went on to big success in South East Asia, notching up numerous number 1 hit singles in multiple markets. National Stadium, Singapore
The Singapore National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kallang, Singapore. It serves as the country's national stadium. Opened in 2014, it was constructed on the site of the former National Stadium, which stood from 1973 to 2010. The 55,000-seat facility is the centrepiece of the Singapore Sports Hub, a sports and recreation district that also incorporates nearby Singapore Indoor Stadium and other sporting venues. One of the largest domed structures in the world, it features a naturally-ventilated design with a retractable roof, and has configurations for football, rugby, athletics and cricket. ''MTV Asia Hitlist'' is an Asian chart show or countdown on MTV Asia, produced by MTV Asia and hosted by MTV VJs, which first aired in 1996. It resembles the MTV US show '' TRL'', which also featured music videos in a countdown. From 1996 to 1999, the show presented the Top 20 videos in Asia, lasting for two hours with advertisements. ''Sooty & Co.'' is a British children's television series, created and presented by Matthew Corbett, produced by Granada Television, and aired on the Children's ITV block on ITV from 6 September 1993 to 14 December 1998. It is the sequel to the children's programme ''The Sooty Show'', which had concluded in 1992, retaining the sitcom format, and focuses on the misadventures of Sooty, Sweep, Soo, Little Cousin Scampi, and Matthew as they try to run a bric a brac shop in Manchester. Episodes were mainly filmed at Granada's main studio in Manchester and around the city, though some episodes were filmed outside of Manchester, including within Scotland, Ireland, and Spain. The handover ceremony of Hong Kong in 1997 officially marked the handover of Hong Kong from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the People's Republic of China. It was an internationally televised event with the ceremony commencing on the night of 30 June 1997 and finishing on the morning of 1 July 1997. The ceremony was held at the new wing of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island.
