Cricket Wales () is the Governing bodies of sports in Wales, national governing body of cricket in Wales. It is an umbrella partnership body comprising the Welsh Cricket Association, Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Wales National County Cricket Club, the Welsh Schools Cricket Association and Sport Wales. It regulates the sport of cricket in Wales and organises competitions up to national level. Cricket Wales is based at the SWALEC Stadium, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. It is affiliated with the England and Wales Cricket Board and is one of its Cricket Boards, alongside the English counties. The Association of Cricket Officials (ACO) is an organisation set up to represent and support cricket officials, especially Umpire (cricket), umpires and Scoring (cricket), scorers. It operates under the auspices of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and is often referred to as the "ECB ACO" or similar. Current membership (as of March 2015) is "near 8,000". Wales National County Cricket Club
Wales National County Cricket Club is one of the 20 county clubs that compete in the National Counties Cricket Championship. It represents all of the historic counties of Wales except Glamorgan, and is the only non-English team in the competition. The team is currently a member of the National Counties Cricket Championship Western Division, having joined in 1988 (under the name Wales Minor Counties) after Somerset's second eleven left the competition, and plays in the NCCA Knockout Trophy.
