Monte Cresto
Monte Cresto (French: ''Mont Crest'') (2,548 m) is the third highest peak of the Province of Biella (Piedmont, NW Italy) after Monte Mars (2,600 m) and Monte Bo (2,556 m). Geography The mountain is located on the water divide between the Lys Valley (Aosta Valley) and the Cervo Valley (Province of Biella). Administratively is divided between the comunes of Issime (Aosta Valley, western faces) and an exclave of the Piedmontese comune of Sagliano Micca (Eastern faces). Access to the summit It can be ascended following the water divide starting from Piedicavallo either from the south, passing through the Colle del Lupo (literally ''Wolf's pass'', 2,342 m) or from the north, passing by Colle della Vecchia (''Old Woman's pass'', 2,185 m). A classical climbing route which reaches the summit starts from Rifugio della Vecchia and is rated ''PD'' in the IFAS system. Mayda Cresto
Mayda Rosana Cresto (born 6 February 1972) is an Argentine lawyer, notary and politician. She served as a National Deputy elected in Entre Ríos from 2017 to 2021. A member of the Justicialist Party, Cresto sat in the Frente de Todos parliamentary bloc from 2019 to 2021. Early life and education Cresto was born on 6 February 1972 in Concordia, Entre Ríos Province. She comes from a political family; both her father, Juan Carlos Cresto, and her brother, Enrique Tomás Cresto, have served as ''intendente'' (mayor) of Concordia. Her mother, Laura Martínez de Cresto, served as National Senator. Her grandfather, Enrique Tomás Cresto, was governor of Entre Ríos from 1973 to 1976. Cresto studied law at the National University of the Littoral, graduating in 1994. She also has a notary's degree from the same university, attained in 2001. Sergio Cresto
Sergio Cresto ( USA) (January 19, 1956 – May 2, 1986) was the co-driver of Henri Toivonen at the Lancia Martini team for the 1986 World Rally Championship season. He was also a former co-driver for fellow Lancia employee Attilio Bettega, who died in an accident during the 1985 Tour de Corse on May 2, 1985. His co-driver Maurizio Perissinot survived the crash uninjured. This event happened exactly one year before the accident that claimed the lives of both Sergio Cresto and his driver by then Henri Toivonen on May 2, 1986. Biography Sergio Cresto was born in New York on 19 January 1956. As an Italian American, Cresto lived in Ospedaletti, near Sanremo, away from his brother George A. Cresto in New York. He began racing in an Opel Kadett GT/E with Amedeo Gerbino. In 1979, Cresto was Tonino Tognana's co-driver in a Kadett GT/E, as well as in the more powerful Fiat 131 Abarth two years later.
