Credlin
''Credlin'' is an Australian television news and commentary program broadcast weeknights on Sky News Australia. The program is hosted by Sky News commentator Peta Credlin, who was previously former Prime Minister Tony Abbott's chief of staff. The program debuted on 20 November 2017 during the final week of the 2017 Queensland state election. The program is the first format Credlin has hosted solo, having previously been a co-host of '' Credlin Keneally'' with Kristina Keneally and '' Jones + Co'' with Alan Jones. ''Credlin'', which replaced '' The Latest with Laura Jayes'' in the timeslot, focuses on political analysis led by Credlin herself. Peta-Louise Mary Credlin (born March 1971) is an Australian media personality and former political advisor who served as Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister (Australia), Chief of Staff to Tony Abbott during his term as prime minister of Australia from 2013 to 2015. Credlin was previously chief of staff to Tony Abbott as Leader of the Opposition. Since 2016, she has been the host of ''Credlin'' and co-host of ''Jones & Co'' on Sky News Live. Credlin is a controversial figure in Australian media. Early life and education Peta Credlin was born to Len and Brenda Credlin in the small Victorian country town of Wycheproof. Her family moved closer to Geelong, and she attended Sacred Heart College, Geelong, Sacred Heart College, where she was a member of the debating team and elected deputy school captain in her second year. ''Jones & Co'' (originally known as ''Richo + Jones'') was a weekly Australian television news and commentary program, broadcast on Sky News Australia. The program airs each Tuesday night at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, AEST. Its current co-hosts are Alan Jones (talkback host), Alan Jones and Peta Credlin, while previous co-hosts alongside Jones include Graham Richardson and Mark Latham. The series focuses on mainly political topics. The program usually beings with the duo interviewing a prominent politician or political commentator. In the final segment of the show, Richo and Credlin discuss a variety of topics between themselves.
