''Craig Before the Creek ''is a 2023 American animated adventure comedy film that is a prequel to the Cartoon Network television series ''Craig of the Creek''. The film was directed by series creators Matt Burnett and Ben Levin, co-directed by Naija Porter, and co-written by Burnett and Levin, with additional contributions from various writers. The show's pilot episode debuted directly on the official app on December 1, 2017. The series premiered online on February 19, 2018, with a double-premiere event airing on March 30, 2018. On February 17, 2021, the series was renewed for a fourth season which premiered on October 25, 2021. On January 19, 2022, the series was renewed for a fifth season, set to premiere in early 2023. Jack Shirley is a Grammy Award nominated American record producer, audio engineer and musician. He is known for his analog driven aesthetic, and work with eclectic artists, including Deafheaven, whose 2013 sophomore album '' Sunbather'' received widespread critical acclaim.
