County Of Raglan
The County of Raglan is a county (a cadastral division) in Queensland, Australia, located mostly within the Shire of Banana in Central Queensland. The county was first created in January 1854 by the office of the Colonial Secretary of New South Wales. On 7 March 1901, the Governor issued a proclamation legally dividing Queensland into counties under the ''Land Act 1897''. Gladstone Region is a local government area in Queensland, Australia. The council covers an area of , had an estimated resident population at 30 June 2018 of 62,979, and has an estimated operating budget of A$84 million. History Gladstone Region came into being on 15 March 2008 as a result of the report of the Local Government Reform Commission released in July 2007. The legal standing of the council is sourced from the Local Government Reform Act 2007 (Qld). Jambin, Queensland
Jambin is a rural town and locality in the Shire of Banana, Queensland, Australia. Geography Jambin is located in Central Queensland on the Burnett Highway which runs roughly north-south through the town. Callide Creek is immediately to the west of the town; it is a tributary of the Don River. The Callide Valley railway line passed through the locality with Jambin railway station () serving the town. That section of the line is now closed and the station abandoned.
