Costică Acsinte (born Constantin Axinte; July 4, 1897 in a village of Perieți, Ialomița, Perieți, Ialomița County, Romania – January 7, 1984 in Slobozia, Romania) was a Romanian photographer. Life Constantin Axinte was born on July 4, 1897, in the village of Perieți, Ialomița, Perieți, Ialomița County, Romania as the second of the seven children of Costache and Maria. He became known by the pseudonym Costică Acsinte, present on the backs of most of his photographs. He graduated after the 5th grade in Perieți, as a mediocre student. At the age of 18 he graduated from the Cotroceni Piloting School in Bucharest, but he did not obtain the pilot license (as of April 1, 1913, Romania had only 20 licensed pilots). With the start of the First World War, Costica Acsinte enrolled as a volunteer war photographer, developing his own photographs as well as the ones of the Romanian pilots and reconnaissance missions. Costică Dafinoiu
Costică Dafinoiu (6 February 1954 – 8 June 2022) was a light-heavyweight boxer from Romania. He took up boxing in 1969, winning a bronze medal at the 1976 Olympics, a gold and a silver medals at the Romanian National Amateur Boxing Championship and won the Golden belt international tournament organized by Romania in 1974. He retired in 1981, and after receiving a degree in physical education worked as a boxing coach at his native club CS Progresul Brăila. Costică Toma (1 January 1928 – 13 May 2008) was a Romanian international football goalkeeper and later manager. Playing career He was born in Brăila, into a family coming from Muralto, Switzerland. Toma began his football career in 1940, when he played for FC Suter as a striker. After a period when he played as a youth for Capșa București, he moved to Iași. He played only a season at CS ta, and after two months at Câmpulung Moldovenesc, he moved to Steaua București. He played twelve years for the Army club, and was a part of the Steaua Golden Team. He had at Steaua a famous and a fair-play rivalry with Ion Voinescu. It was said that Toma and Voinescu were the best couple of goalkeepers that a Romanian football club ever had.
