Anticoli Corrado
Anticoli Corrado () is a (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Rome in the Italy, Italian region of Lazio, Latium, located about northeast of Rome. Anticoli Corrado borders the following municipalities: Mandela (RM), Mandela, Marano Equo, Rocca Canterano, Roviano, Saracinesco. Anticoli became known in the 19th century because its young inhabitants used to pose as models for the community of artists living near Piazza di Spagna in Rome. Some artists eventually went to see the birthplace of their models and found Anticoli a very picturesque site to the point of living there for some time. The town attracted artists until World War II. Artists included Oskar Kokoschka, Henry Inlander, Eric Hebborn, and Noel Paine. Andrea Corrado
Andrea Corrado ( Albissola Marina, 15 October 1873 – Genoa, 1963) was an Italian ship-owner. Early life The son of a well known Genoese boat builder, Andrea Corrado completed his Shipmaster examination at age 17, and by 1892 had advanced to the rank of first officer. He became a Captain shortly thereafter and became known for his exemplary ship maneuvering skills. This led to him becoming the head of the Genoa Maritime Pilots. Shipowning career The first historical record of Andrea Corrado as a ship owner (and by extension investor) was in 1908, when he acquired the "Castagna". By 1917, he had organically grown his fleet to five vessels; three steamships and two Brigs. Francesco Corrado (born 26 March 1993) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth round, 150th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Corrado made his NHL debut for the Canucks during the 2012-13 NHL season, 2012-13 season.
