Coronel Portillo Province

	Coronel Portillo Province Coronel Portillo is the second largest of four provinces in the Ucayali Region in Peru. Its capital is Pucallpa. Languages According to the 2007 census, 92.8% of the population spoke Spanish as their first language, while 0.8% spoke Quechua, 0.5% spoke Asháninka, 0.1% spoke Aymara and 5.7% spoke other indigenous languages. Political division The province is divided into seven districts ( es, distritos, singular: ''distrito''), each of which is headed by a mayor (''alcalde''). 	Provinces Of Peru The provinces of Peru () are the second-level administrative subdivisions of the country. They are divided into districts ( es, distritos, links=no). There are 196 provinces in Peru, grouped into 25 regions, except for Lima Province which does not belong to any region. This makes an average of seven provinces per region. The region with the fewest provinces is Callao (one) and the region with the most is Ancash (twenty). While provinces in the sparsely populated Amazon rain forest of eastern Peru tend to be larger, there is a large concentration of them in the north-central area of the country. 	El Sira Communal Reserve El Sira Communal Reserve ( es, Reserva Comunal El Sira) is a protected area in Peru created to preserve the biodiversity of the Sira Mountains and the ancestral sustainable use of the area's resources by the nearby native peoples. It also protects the headwaters of the Pachitea river basin. The reserve covers an area of within the regions of Huánuco, Pasco and Ucayali.
