Corey Toole
Corey Toole (born 7 March 2000) is an Australians, Australian rugby union and rugby sevens player. He plays domestically with the Brumbies in the Super Rugby. From Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Toole played for ACT and Southern NSW Rugby Union, Wagga Waratahs Rugby Club and the Gungahlin Eagles before joining the Brumbies#Development teams, Brumbies Academy. Toole has also represented the ACT and Southern NSW Rugby Union, ACT Schoolboys at Nationals. Rugby sevens at the 2022 Commonwealth Games was held at the Coventry Stadium from 29 to 31 July 2022. A total of 16 teams competed in the men's tournament, while eight contested the women's tournament. South Africa won the men's tournament, while Australia won the women's. Rugby World Cup Sevens (RWCS) is the quadrennial world championship of rugby sevens, a variant of rugby union. Organised by World Rugby, it currently consists of men's and women's tournaments, and is the highest level of competition in the sport outside of the Summer Olympics. The first tournament was held in 1993 in Scotland, and was won by England. The winners of the men's tournament are awarded the Melrose Cup, named after the Scottish town of Melrose where the first rugby sevens game was played. The 2022 USA Sevens was the seventeenth edition of the rugby sevens tournament. It was held at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Los Angeles, California between 27 and 28 August 2022. The title defenders were five-time USA Sevens champions South Africa. The final event of the season saw the most competitive sole event in World Rugby Sevens Series history as all sixteen core teams vied for the event title, four of whom were simultaneously vying for the series title (South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Fiji). Terry Kennedy (born 4 July 1996) is an Irish rugby union player who has played for the Ireland national rugby sevens team since 2016. Kennedy was a member of the Irish team that won the silver medals of 2017 Rugby Europe Sevens Grand Prix Series. He also helped Ireland win the 2018 Moscow Sevens tournament — he scored two tries in the final as Ireland defeated Germany 28–7, and was the leading try scorer in the tournament overall with nine tries. Kennedy scored a try in the final of the 2019 Hong Kong Sevens qualifier to help Ireland defeat Hong Kong 28–7 and qualify for the 2019–20 World Rugby Sevens Series. The 2022 Singapore Sevens was a rugby sevens tournament played on 9–10 April 2022 at the National Stadium in Singapore. It was the ninth edition of the Singapore Sevens and the fifth tournament of the 2021–22 World Rugby Sevens Series. This was the first event in the series for which no invited teams featured in tournament, and all core teams were available. The 2022 Spain Sevens was held as two rugby sevens tournaments on consecutive weekends in . The first was hosted at Estadio Ciudad in Málaga and the second at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville. These events were the inaugural season of the Spain Sevens and were played as the third and fourth tournaments of the 2021–22 World Rugby Sevens Series.
