RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual Trade fair, expo of Drag (clothing), drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. In every episode, it employs a panel of judges with Paolo Ballesteros and KaladKaren, with BJ Pascual, Jon Santos, and Laurel family (Philippines), Rajo Laurel as alternative judges. Jiggly Caliente served as a judge for three seasons until it was announced in April 2025 that she would not be returning as a judge due to a “severe infection” which led to the amputation of her right leg. The first season of ''Drag Race Philippines'' premiered on August 17, 2022. The cast was announced on July 27, 2022. The winner of the first season of ''Drag Race Philippines'' was Precious Paula Nicole, with Marina Summers as the runner-up. Casting occurred in middle 2021 with production starting in early 2022.
