''Coping Mechanisms'' is the debut album by Republic of Ireland, Irish music artist Si Schroeder. It was released in 2006 by Republic of Ireland, Irish independent record label Trust Me I'm A Thief. In an interview with ''The Irish Times'' at the time of its release Si Schroeder explained that the title 'comes from observing how friends and colleagues of his deal with living in 21st-century Dublin. "The nature of living in Dublin has definitely influenced the themes on this record. Si Schroeder (born Dublin, Ireland) is the alias of Irish music artist Simon Kenny. He has released one studio album, ''Coping Mechanisms'', and the singles ''Clocked'', ''Jump Ship'', ''C4'' and ''Brailowsky'' to date as Si (rhymes with "sigh") Schroeder. Choice Music Prize
The Choice Music Prize (), known for sponsorship reasons as the RTÉ Choice Music Prize is an annual music prize awarded to the best album from a band or solo musician who is born in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland or holds an Irish passport. For bands, the majority of members must have been born in the island of Ireland or hold an Irish passport.
