History On September 5, 2019, the Pacific Light House Church (Born Again Christian Church) was opened in the district. Geography Boe is located in the southwest of the island. Uaboe (also known as Waboe) is a district in the island nation of Nauru, located in the northwest of the island. Geography Covering about 0.8 km², Uaboe has a population of 330. Uaboe is the second-smallest district in Nauru. It is the only district other than Boe to have an area less than 1.0 km². Ubenide is a constituency of Nauru made up of four districts: Baitsi, Denigomodu, Nibok, and Uaboe. It covers an area of 4.5 km² (1.73 mi²), making it the second largest constituency by area, and is the most populous constituency with a population of 3,300. It returns four members to the Parliament of Nauru in Yaren, being the only district to return four. Geography "Ubenide" is an acronym, named after the 4 districts that comprise the constituency - Uaboe, Beidi (the old name of Baitsi), Nibok, and Denigomodu.
