Confessions of a Traitor (COAT) is a British Christian metalcore band from London. It was formed in 2013 by vocalist and frontman Stephen MacConville, guitarist Jack Darnell, and bassist Tony Nagle. The band was later joined by drummer Sebastian Olrog and rhythm guitarist and vocalist Jacob Brand. They released their debut album, ''Guided,'' on Sliptrick Records in 2019. Their second album, ''Punishing Myself Before God Does,'' was released in 2022 on Facedown Records. Metalcore
Metalcore is a broadly defined fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, originating in the 1990s United States and becoming popular in the 2000s. Metalcore typically has aggressive verses and melodic choruses, combined with Breakdown (music), breakdowns – which are slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining traits are low-tuned, percussive guitar riffs, double bass drumming, and polished production. Fit for a King, also known as FFAK, is an American metalcore band from Tyler, Texas, formed in 2007. The band comprises guitarists Bobby Lynge and Daniel Gailey, vocalist Ryan Kirby, bassist Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary, and drummer Trey Celaya. They released two independent EPs entitled ''Fit for a King'' in 2008 and ''Awaken the Vesper'' in 2009. They also released one independent album, '' Descendants'', in 2011. Currents (band)
Currents is an American metalcore band formed in Newtown, Connecticut in 2011 by former drummer Jeff Brown. After numerous line-up changes, they consist of singer Brian Wille, guitarists Ryan Castaldi and Chris Wiseman (also the founding guitarist of Shadow of Intent), bassist and backing vocalist Christian Pulgarin, and drummer Matt Young.
