"Confession" is a song by English recording artist Louise, released by Lil Lou Records Ltd on 13 February. "Confession" was released as the lead single for Louise's fifth studio album, '' Confessions'', which was released on 23 May 2025. Background and release Louise began teasing new music over the summer of 2024, performing some of a new song "Get into It" at a performance at Mighty Hoopla on 2 June 2024. "Confession" was announced as the lead single on Instagram on 10 February 2025 and released three days later. Louise herself described the song as "a real departure from everything I've done in the past" and as "cheek, fun and upbeat electro-pop". ''Confessions'' is the fifth studio album by English singer Louise. It was released on 23 May 2025 by Lil Lou Records. Its release is preceded by the singles "Confession", "Love Me More", and "Borderline". Working with a variety of collaborators, the project includes contributions from Jon Shave, Anya Jones, Karen Poole, Tre Jean-Marie, MNEK, Miranda Cooper and Hannah Robinson. Background and composition Work on ''Confessions'' began over a year before release. The deluxe edition's bonus tracks, "Diamonds" and "L.U.V", were some of the first written, and the former of the two cemented some of the writers and producers Redknapp would work with on the album. Mighty Hoopla
Mighty Hoopla is a yearly outdoor music festival in London, and Europe's largest LGBTQ+ music festival. It is known for including performances and DJ sets by drag performers in its programming. The UK Singles Sales Chart is a weekly record chart compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on behalf of the British record industry. The UK Singles Sales Chart differs from the UK Singles Chart (also known as the Official Singles Chart) in that it counts "physical" sales only (including downloads), whereas the Official Chart also counts streaming.
