Community Assembly Of Kosovo And Metohija
The Assembly of the Community of Municipalities of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija (), was the assembly of the association of local governments created by the parallel municipal authorities in Kosovo elected in the May 11, 2008 municipal elections called by the Government of Serbia. It was created in North Mitrovica (North Kosovo) to represent the municipalities that defied the 2008 Kosovo declaration of independence. The Assembly was composed of 45 representatives delegated by 26 municipalities. The majority of delegates were ethnic Serbs, while some represented Gorani, Bosniak and Romani communities. The assembly was not part of the government of the Republic of Kosovo and it was dissolved following the 2013 Brussels Agreement. Kosovo Serbs form the largest ethnic minority group in Kosovo (5–6%). The precise number of Kosovo Serbs is difficult to determine as they have boycotted national censuses. 2013 Kosovan Local Elections
Local elections were held in Kosovo on 3 November 2013, with a second round on 1 December. Community Of Serb Municipalities
The Community of Serb Municipalities (, ZSO; , AKS) is a planned inter-municipal association of Serbs in Kosovo, ethnic Serb majority Municipalities of Kosovo, municipalities in Kosovo. The proposal for the association came as a result of the 2013 Brussels Agreement negotiated and concluded by the governments of Government of Kosovo, Kosovo and Government of Serbia, Serbia. In accordance with the competences given by the European Charter of Local Self-Government and Kosovo law, the participating municipalities would be entitled to cooperate in exercising their powers collectively through the association. Fatmir Sejdiu (; born 23 October 1951) is a Kosovo Albanian politician. He was the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and was the 1st President of Republic of Kosovo. Early life and education Fatmir Sejdiu was born on 23 October 1951, in the small village of Pakashticë, Podujevo, FPR Yugoslavia. He was the first child of Nexhmi Sejdiu and Miradije Shala-Sejdiu. He finished the primary school and high school in Podujevë. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Pristina, in 1974, where he also completed his postgraduate studies and earned his PhD degree. The President of Kosovo (; ), officially the President of the Republic of Kosovo (; ), is the head of state of Kosovo. The president is elected indirectly by the parliament through a secret ballot, requiring a two-thirds majority of deputies in office.
