Communauté De Communes Du Sud-Ouest Amiénois
The Communauté de communes du Sud-Ouest Amiénois is a former ''communauté de communes'' in the Somme (department), Somme ''départements of France, département'' and in the Picardie ''régions of France, région'' of France. It was created in June 2004.CC du Sud Ouest Amiénois (N° SIREN : 248000762) BANATIC. Accessed 30 March 2022. It was merged into the new Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest in January 2017. History The communauté de communes succeeded the ''Syndicat mixte Pays Somme sud ouest'' (SMPSSO), the dissolution taking effect on 1 January 2008. Poix-de-Picardie
Poix-de-Picardie (, literally ''Poix of Picardy''; ) is a Communes of France, commune in the Somme (department), Somme Departments of France, department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. Geography The commune is situated at the junction of the N1 and N29 roads, some southwest of Amiens, at the bottom of a rather steep-sided valley, confined by Normandy to the south and Picardy to the north. The commune has rail access at the Poix-de-Picardie station, on the Rouen to Amiens line. Population Places of interest * The sixteenth century church of Saint-Denis’ priory. In flamboyant Gothic style, the base of the tower dates from the twelfth century. Before becoming the parish church, it was the chapel of the château. * Military cemetery. Beaucamps-le-Vieux
Beaucamps-le-Vieux (; Picard: ''Bieucamp'') is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. Geography The commune is situated at the junction of the D96, D496 and D211 roads, from the banks of the Bresle, the border of the departments of the Somme and Seine-Maritime. Population History In 1891, Beaucamps-le-Vieux became the provisional terminal of the Somme regional railway, coming from Amiens, then later reaching Aumale in 1901 and eventually Envermeu in 1906. The line closed to passengers in 1940, and to all traffic in 1947. The train station still stands, but is in private ownership. Croixrault (; Picard: ''Cloreu'') is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. Geography Croixrault is situated on the D341 and D141 crossroads, some southwest of Amiens. The commune is served by exit 13 of the A29 freeway. This connects the old route of the former Route Nationale 1 with the former Route Nationale 29. The freeway also offers a service area. In 2019, Croixrault will be served by Trans'80 bus routes every day of the week, except Sundays and public holidays.
