Committee Of Supply
The Standing Committee of Supply ( sv, Statsutskottet, StU, SU) was a Parliamentary committees in the Riksdag, parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag from 1809 and 1970. It was the central committee of the Riksdag for Government spending, state expenditures and was responsible for issuing reports on the Government of Sweden, Swedish government's budget proposal; some Appropriation (law), appropriations issues were handled by the Committee on Banking and Currency (''Bankoutskottet'') and Committee on Environment and Agriculture, Committee on Agriculture after 1909. The Committee of Supply had unrestricted access to all the accounts and documents of the state administration in order to examine, investigate, and report on the financial condition, management, and needs of the state and national debt administration, with certain exceptions. Parliamentary Committees In The Riksdag
There are fifteen parliamentary committees in the Riksdag, Sweden's parliament. Each committee is made up of seventeen elected MPs, with at least one member from each political party. Martin Skoglund
John ''Martin'' Skoglund, "Doverstorparen", (2 September 1892 in Risinge, Östergötland- 6 December 1976 in Norrköping) was a Swedish politician and member of the Moderate Party. Skoglund was the son of Karl Jonas Skoglund and his wife Stina Lisa Olofsdotter. Between 1911 and 1912, he studied at a folkhögskola and lantmannaskola and at an early age got to work and lived at a farm in Doverstorp. In 1917, he married the farmers daughter Elsa Andersson with whom she got two children. In 1919, Skoglund was elected into the Risinge municipal council and was soon one of the leading men of the council. In 1923 to 1928, he was the chairman of the fattigvårdsstyrelsen. Carl Johan Gustaf Swartz (5 June 1858 – 6 November 1926) was a Swedish right-wing politician who served as Prime Minister of Sweden from March to October 1917. He also served as Minister for Finance from 1906 to 1911. He married Dagmar Lundström in 1886, with whom he had three children, Erik, Brita and Olof. Life and career Carl Swartz was born on 5 June 1858 in Norrköping, Östergötland County, the son of factory-owner Erik Swartz and wife Elisabeth Forsgren. Early life Fredrik Wachtmeister was born on 2 August 1905 in the family of Lieutenant Claes Wachtmeister. He grew up in Thystad Castle in Nyköping Municipality, Södermanland County. Axel ''Gottfrid'' Leonard Billing (29 April 1841 – 14 January 1925) was a Swedish cleric and theologian who served as a member of the Swedish Academy, member of the Första kammaren in the Riksdag and served as Bishop of Lund from 1898 until 1925.
