"Colourblind" is the debut single of Scottish singer-songwriter Darius Campbell, who finished third on the first series of ''Pop Idol'' in 2002. It is the first song taken from his debut solo album, ''Dive In'' (2002). Release It was released on 29 July 2002 and reached number one in the UK Singles Chart for two weeks. It also peaked at number 13 on the Irish Singles Chart. Following Campbell's death on 11 August 2022, the song debuted at number two on both the UK Official Single Download and Official Single Sales Charts on 19 August 2022. "It's Not Unusual" is a song written by Les Reed and Gordon Mills, first recorded by a then-unknown Tom Jones, after having first been offered to Sandie Shaw. He intended it as a demo for her, but when she heard it she was so impressed with his delivery that she recommended he sing it instead. The record was the second Jones single Decca released, reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 1965. It was his first hit in the United States, peaking at No. 10 in May of that year. It was released in the US by Parrot Records and reached No. 3 on ''Billboard'''s easy listening chart. The BBC initially refused to play it because of his sexy image, but UK pirate radio did not. He sang the song twice in 1965 on ''The Ed Sullivan Show'' in New York City, on 2 May and 13 June. He did it again on 21 April 1968.
