Colm O'Rourke
Colm O'Rourke (born 31 August 1957) is a Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager, former player, retired secondary school principal, Broadcasting of sports events, sports broadcaster and columnist. His National Football League (Ireland), league and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, championship career at senior level with the Meath county football team, Meath county team spanned twenty years from 1975 to 1995. Born in Aughavas, County Leitrim, his family moved to Skryne in County Meath, where O'Rourke spent his youth. He played competitive Gaelic football during his schooling at St Patrick's Classical School in Navan. Seán Cavanagh
Seán Cavanagh (born 16 February 1983) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Moy Tír Na nÓg club and for the Tyrone county team. He is a five-time All Star winner. He won All-Ireland Championships for Tyrone at minor level and three times at senior level, and captained Ireland in the International Rules Series. His playing style was very attack-minded, considering he is usually deployed as a midfielder, and he usually ended up scoring more than most of the forwards on the team. Michael Murphy (Gaelic Footballer)
Michael Murphy (born 4 August 1989) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a full forward for Glenswilly and for the Donegal county team, which he captained from December 2010 until his initial retirement from inter-county football in November 2022. His predecessors as Donegal players, such as Manus Boyle, Brendan Devenney and Anthony Molloy, regard Murphy as the county's greatest ever footballer. Bernard Flynn
Bernard Flynn (born 26 June 1965) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Meath county team. As a teenager he attended secondary school in St Mary's of Drogheda. He enjoyed success play inter-county football in the 1980s and early 1990s on the Meath teams managed by Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at corner forward. He played club football for St Colmcille's of East Meath up to the 1991 season when he moved to St Joseph's (Laois) and then to Mullingar Shamrocks (Westmeath). Brian Stafford is an Irish people, Irish former Gaelic footballer. He played for the Meath county football team, Meath county team in the 1980s and early 1990s under the management of Sean Boylan. Paddy O'Rourke (born 10 May 1989) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for his club Skryne and, formerly, the Meath county team. O'Rourke is the nephew of former Skryne and Meath player Colm and first cousin of former Meath player Shane. Playing career Club He played for the Skryne juvenile team at a young age and eventually became the Skryne senior team's first choice goalkeeper, aged 16. Shane O'Rourke (born 3 May 1988) is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Simonstown Gaels club and for the Meath county team. He is the son of Meath footballer Colm O'Rourke and a cousin of former Meath goalkeeper Paddy O'Rourke. Shane O'Rourke was linked to a move to the Brisbane Lions, Queensland to play in the Australian Football League championship but he was not believed to be interested in the move.
