''Collision Course'' is a mash-up EP from American rapper Jay-Z and rock band Linkin Park, released on November 30, 2004, by Roc-A-Fella, Machine Shop, Warner Bros. and Def Jam. From Linkin Park's catalog, ''Collision Course'' features three songs from ''Meteora'' and four from ''Hybrid Theory''. From Jay-Z's catalog, it features three songs from '' The Black Album'', one from '' Vol. 3: Life and Times of S. Carter'', one from '' Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life'' and one from '' The Blueprint''. Brian Joseph Burton (born July 29, 1977), known professionally as Danger Mouse, is an American musician and record producer. He came to prominence in 2004 when he released '' The Grey Album'', which combined vocal performances from Jay-Z's '' The Black Album'' with instrumentals from the Beatles' ''The Beatles'', also known as ''The White Album''. In 2008, ''Esquire'' named him one of the "75 most influential people of the 21st century". ''The Grey Album'' is a mashup album by Danger Mouse, released in 2004. It mixes an a cappella version of rapper Jay-Z's '' The Black Album'' with samples from the Beatles' self-titled ninth album, commonly known as "The White Album".
