College Of The Redwoods
College of the Redwoods (CR) is a public community college with its main campus south of Eureka, California. It is part of the California Community Colleges System and serves three counties. It has two branch campuses, as well as three additional sites. It is one of twelve community colleges in California that offer on-campus housing for students. In autumn of 2022, the school had 3,891 students of which 1,211 were full-time. The school uses "a semester-based academic year". With a student-faculty ratio of 16-to-1, the school offers associate degrees. The school "has an open admissions policy and offers credit for life experiences". Carmelita "Carm" Little Turtle is an Apache/ Tarahumara photographer born in Santa Maria, California, on June 4, 1952. Her hand-painted, sepia-toned photographs explore gender roles, women's rights and the relationships between women and men. Instant Composers Pool (ICP) is an independent Dutch jazz and improvised music label and orchestra. Founded in 1967, the label takes its name from the concept that improvisation is "instant composition". The ICP label has published more than 50 releases to date, with most of its releases featuring the ICP Orchestra and its members. Michael Moore (born December 4, 1954) is an American jazz musician who has lived in the Netherlands since 1982. Background and career The son of a semi-professional musician, Moore was born and raised in Eureka, California. He studied music at Humboldt State and in 1977 graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Jaki Byard and Gunther Schuller, and was a classmate of Marty Ehrlich. He played in a variety of musical contexts, especially those in support of theatre and dance groups. David Douglas Harper (May 5, 1966 – October 20, 2021), nicknamed "Harpdog", was an American professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Humboldt State Lumberjacks.
