Kallooppara is a village Near Thiruvalla in Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala, India.It Is Part Of Thiruvalla Constituency. History of Kallooppara The land of Kallooppara was previously known by the name of "Perum Para Nadu" because of exceptionally large storage of rocks. Later, the region was known as Perumbranadu. Kallooppara was once the part of Thiruvalla taluka. With the formation of the Pathanamthitta district in 1983, a new taluka was created, and Kallooppara became a part of it. It was governed by the Royalties of the Thekkumkoor Dynasty and Edapally Rajas, Edappally Thampurans (rulers). Pathanamthitta District (), is one of the 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala. The district headquarters is in the town of Pathanamthitta. There are four municipalities in Pathanamthitta: Adoor, Pandalam, Pathanamthitta and Thiruvalla. According to the 2011 Census of India, the population was 1,197,412, making it the third least populous district in Kerala (out of 14), after Wayanad and Idukki.
