Cold
Cold is the presence of low temperature, especially in the atmosphere. In common usage, cold is often a subjective perception. A lower bound to temperature is absolute zero, defined as 0.00K on the Kelvin scale, an absolute thermodynamic temperature scale. This corresponds to on the Celsius scale, on the Fahrenheit scale, and on the Rankine scale. Since temperature relates to the thermal energy held by an object or a sample of matter, which is the kinetic energy of the random motion of the particle constituents of matter, an object will have less thermal energy when it is colder and more when it is hotter. If it were possible to cool a system to absolute zero, all motion of the particles in a sample of matter would cease and they would be at complete rest in the classical sense. The object could be described as having zero thermal energy. Microscopically in the description of quantum mechanics, however, matter still has zero-point energy even at absolute zero, becau ... Pornography (album)
''Pornography'' is the fourth studio album by English Gothic rock band The Cure, released on 3 May 1982 by Fiction Records. Preceded by the non-album single " Charlotte Sometimes", it was the band's first album with new producer Phil Thornalley, and was recorded at RAK Studios from January to April 1982. The sessions saw the band on the brink of collapse, with heavy drug use, band in-fighting, and frontman Robert Smith's depression fueling the album's musical and lyrical content. ''Pornography'' represents the conclusion of the Cure's early dark, gloomy musical phase, which began with their second album '' Seventeen Seconds'' (1980). Following its release, bassist Simon Gallup left the band, and the Cure switched to a much brighter and more radio-friendly new wave sound. Although it was poorly received by critics at the time of release, ''Pornography'' was the Cure's most popular album to date, reaching number eight on the UK Albums Chart. Soundscape Of Silence
''Soundscape of Silence'' is the fifth album released by the Finnish band Before the Dawn. It was released on 31 October 2008, through Stay Heavy Records. During the recording sessions of this album in early 2008, the band had to cope with yet another line-up change – once again, the drum-seat became vacant. The core crew of Before the Dawn (Tuomas, Lars, Juho) only took some time off from studio to play at summer festivals like the Wacken Open Air in Germany, mainly with the aid of session drummer Matti Auerkallio, later replaced by Agonizer's Atte Palokangas. In summer 2009 Atte became an official band member. Background Coinciding with the band's 10th anniversary, Before the Dawn accompanied Amorphis Amorphis is a Finnish heavy metal band founded by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari, and Esa Holopainen in 1990. It was their last album before their eleven-year breakup from 1996 to 2007. The album was recorded and mixed in Studio Fredman, early 1995.
