Coke Studio (Pakistani Season 11)
The eleventh season of Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio Pakistan'', titled as Coke Studio: The Sound of Nation, premiered in Pakistan on 10 August 2018. Musicians Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi were announced as a new producers and directors for the series, after Strings stepped down from the role to pursue their own music. The series was produced under Kazi and Hamza's production company Front Foot Media and was distributed by The Coca-Cola Company Pakistan. As a part of new module, Kazi and Hamza created a spin-off series ''Coke Studio Explorer'' which was released on 3 July 2018 and featured regional but largely unknown artists across the country where their performances were recorded live. The series opened to rave reviews and received critical acclaim. Despite the success of ''Explorer'' series, season eleven, received mixed reception from the critics. Artists
An artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating the work of art. Abida Parveen
Abida Parveen (; ; born 20 February 1954) is a Pakistani singer, composer, musician of Sufi music, painter and an entrepreneur. Parveen is one of the highest-paid singers in Pakistan. Her singing and music have earned her many accolades, and she has been dubbed the Queen of Sufi music. Born and raised in Larkana into a Sindhi Sufi family, she was trained by her father, Ustad Ghulam Haider, who was a famous singer and music teacher. She plays the Pump organ, Keyboard, and Sitar. Momina Mustehsan (; born 5 September 1992) is a Pakistani singer. In 2017, BBC named her one of the 100 Women (BBC), 100 most influential women, and the following year, ''Forbes'' featured her among its "30 Under 30" Asia list along with nine other Pakistani individuals. That same year, Mustehsan was honored by Stony Brook University, which named her among their "40 most successful graduates." Mustehsan earned a double major degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics at Stony Brook University. Krewella
Krewella is an American electronic dance music band from the Chicago suburb of Northbrook, Illinois, United States, that formed in 2007. Their musical style has been mainly described as EDM, dance-rock, and dance-pop. However, Krewella's style has been influenced by a number of electronic sub genres, including progressive house, electro, dubstep, drum and bass, trap music and future bass. Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi
Attaullah Khan Niazi ( born 19 August 1951), known professionally as Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi, is a Pakistani musician, singer, and poet from Isakhel in Mianwali District, Punjab. Ali Aziz Sethi (Urdu/; ; born July 2, 1984) is a Pakistani-American singer, songwriter, composer, and author. Born to journalists and politicians Najam Sethi and Jugnu Mohsin, Sethi rose to prominence with his debut novel, '' The Wish Maker'' (2009). Although Sethi received some musical training as a child, he did not begin to formally train in Hindustani classical music until after graduating from college. Ali Azmat Pacha (born 20 April 1966) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He is best known as the lead singer for the influential Sufi rock band Junoon and for his subsequent solo career later followed by a career as an actor as well.
