Coheed
Coheed and Cambria is an American progressive rock band from Nyack, New York, formed in 1995. It consists of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Travis Stever (guitars, vocals), Josh Eppard (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), and Zach Cooper (bass, backing vocals). The group's music incorporates aspects of progressive rock, pop, heavy metal, and post-hardcore. All of Coheed and Cambria's albums except for 2015's '' The Color Before the Sun'' are concept albums based on a science fiction storyline called ''The Amory Wars'', a series written by Claudio Sanchez, which has been transcribed into a series of comic books as well as a full-length novel. Evil Ink, 2007. is an American musician and writer best known for being the lead singer, guitarist and primary lyricist for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. He is the creator of the comic book series ''The Amory Wars'', as well as ''Key of Z'' and ''Kill Audio'', both co-written with his wife Chondra Echert. Sanchez co-authored the novel '' Year of the Black Rainbow'' with Peter David. Musical career Sanchez primarily provides lead vocals and guitar in Coheed and Cambria. ''The Naked Prey'' is a 1965 American adventure film directed and co-produced by Cornel Wilde, who also stars in the lead role. The Amory Wars
''The Amory Wars'' is an ongoing series of science fiction comic books and novels created by Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert, published by Evil Ink Comics. The name also refers to the fictional conflict at the center of the story, which is told across the published works and is also the primary focus of most of the band's music. Each of Coheed and Cambria's studio albums (with the exception of 2015's ''The Color Before the Sun'') tells a chapter in the saga originally narrated by Sanchez's lyrics. The band also makes use of recurring melodies, self-referencing musical and lyrical cues in certain songs that reference key moments in ''The Amory Wars'' mythology. The Color Before The Sun
''The Color Before the Sun'' is the eighth studio album by American progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Following the conceptual double album, '' The Afterman: Ascension'' and '' Descension'', released in 2012 and 2013 respectively, ''The Color Before the Sun'' is the first non-conceptual album the band has released, making it the only Coheed and Cambria album not to be a part of ''The Amory Wars'' storyline. The band released a live acoustic version of "Atlas" in August 2014, and announced a release date of October 9 in July of the following year, before announcing a push back to October 16, 2015. Chris Pennie
Chris Pennie (born May 31, 1977) is an American musician who is the former drummer for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria and former drummer and co-founder of mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan. Background Pennie began playing drums at the age of 13, and at age 16 decided to pursue music seriously. He grew up in Randolph, New Jersey and graduated from Randolph High School, and spent two years at Berklee College of Music where he received a diploma in Music Synthesis, which focuses on electronic music composition and manipulation. Michael Todd (musician)
Michael Robert Todd or Mic Todd (pronounced "Mike"; born August 19, 1980) is the former bassist for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Upon the time of his initial departure, he had been with the band for ten years. He officially parted ways with the band in 2011. Shabütie When the band Shabütie needed a new bass player to replace founding member Jon Carleo, drummer Nate Kelley suggested a former bandmate named Mic Todd. Originally a guitarist, he was asked to join the band to fill out their lacking rhythm section.
