The Clássico das Emoções (in English: Derby of Emotions) is the football rivalry between Clube Náutico Capibaribe and Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, both clubs from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. Clube Náutico Capibaribe
Clube Náutico Capibaribe (), or simply Náutico, is a Football in Brazil, Brazilian Sports club, multi-sport club based in Recife, Pernambuco. The club is most notable for its association football team, that plays in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Série C, the third tier of the Brazilian football league system, as well as in the Campeonato Pernambucano, the top division in the Pernambucano State football leagues in Brazil, state football league system. Santa Cruz Futebol Clube is a Brazilian professional football club based in Recife, Pernambuco, that competes in the Série D, the fourth tier of Brazilian football, and in the Campeonato Pernambucano, the top flight of the Pernambuco state football league. History Early history On 3 February 1914, eleven young men aging from 14 to 16 years founded a football society. Because the boys used to play football on the streets by the yard of the ''Santa Cruz'' Church, the club was named after that church, which is situated on Santa Cruz Street in Recife. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, commonly known as the Série C or the Brazilian Série C to distinguish it from the Italian Serie C, is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Copa do Nordeste (English: ''Cup of the North-East''), also known as Campeonato do Nordeste (''English: Championship of the North-East'') or Copa Nordeste (English: ''Northeastern Cup'') is a Brazilian football competition among Northeastern region teams.
