The Youth Academy () are the youth academy of , a Brazilian football club based in Rio de Janeiro. Is composed of several youth teams and is considered one of the most prolific football academies in Brazil as also in the world. Flamengo's Youth Squads of all categories have won trophies at national and international level. Numerous international players have graduated from the academy team. Notable academy graduates in recent years include Lyon midfielder Lucas Paquetá, Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior, 2016 Summer Olympic Games Gold Medal midfielder Renato Augusto alongside many first team players, such as midfielder Reinier Jesus. Gávea
Gávea is an affluent residential neighborhood located in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It borders São Conrado, Leblon, Lagoa and Jardim Botânico neighborhoods and is famous for its high concentration of artists. PUC-Rio, as well as several schools, are located in the neighborhood. Gávea is well known because of the "Baixo Gávea" area, which is considered a Bohemian quarter. The Taça Belo Horizonte de Juniores (or ''Belo Horizonte Youth Cup'', in English), also known as Taça Belo Horizonte de Futebol Júnior or Taça BH, is a cup competition usually played by 36 Brazilian under-20 football teams, most of them from Minas Gerais state. The 2006 competition's trophy was named after Telê Santana. Format In the first stage the 36 teams are divided in 6 groups. The top 2 of each group, plus the top four 3rd placed teams, qualify to the knockout stage. The CONMEBOL Under-20 Libertadores ( Portuguese and Spanish: CONMEBOL Libertadores Sub 20) is the international association football club competition for teams that play in CONMEBOL leagues.
