The Cleft Lip and Palate Association, also known as CLAPA, is a national charity registered in England, Wales, and Scotland which supports people affected by cleft lip and cleft palate in the United Kingdom. CLAPA was established in 1979 as a partnership between health professionals and parents of children with cleft lip and cleft palate. The organisation's office is in London, but staff are based around the UK. The Charity Commission for England and Wales is a non-ministerial department of His Majesty's Government that regulates registered charities in England and Wales and maintains the Central Register of Charities. Amanda Sonia Berry, CBE (born 20 August 1961) is the chief executive officer of the Royal Foundation. She was CEO of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) from December 2000 to October 2022.
