Clavus Unizonalis
''Clavus unizonalis'', common name the one-zoned turrid, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Drilliidae. Description The size of an adult shell varies between 15 mm and 26 mm. The shell is nodosely plicate, smooth, or with a few close revolving lines at the base. The color is whitish or yellowish white, the body whorl below the periphery chocolate, sometimes with a white band at the base. Jean-Baptiste Pierre Antoine de Monet, chevalier de Lamarck (1 August 1744 – 18 December 1829), often known simply as Lamarck (; ), was a French naturalist, biologist, academic, and soldier. He was an early proponent of the idea that biological evolution occurred and proceeded in accordance with natural laws. Lamarck fought in the Seven Years' War against Prussia, and was awarded a commission for bravery on the battlefield.
