Clausura 2025 Liga MX Final Phase
The 2024–25 Liga MX season#Torneo Clausura, Clausura 2025 Liga MX final phase was played between 26 April and 25 May 2025. A total of ten teams competed in the final phase to decide the champions of the Apertura 2024 Liga MX season. For the fourth straight season, the number of clubs qualifying for the quarter-finals was six while the teams qualifying for the reclassification is four. The four clubs qualified for the reclassification competed in the "play-in" round, a tournament modeled after the NBA play-in tournament. Deportivo Toluca F.C., Toluca defeated Club América, América 2–0 on aggregate to win their eleventh title. As winners, Toluca will face América (Apertura 2024 champion) at the 2025 Campeón de Campeones. Qualified teams The following teams qualified for the championship stage. The 2024–25 Liga MX season#Torneo Apertura, Apertura 2024 Liga MX final phase was played between 20 November and 15 December 2024. A total of ten teams will compete in the final phase to decide the champions of the Apertura 2024 Liga MX season. For the third straight season, the number of clubs qualifying for the quarter-finals will be six while the teams qualifying for the reclassification is four. The four clubs qualified for the reclassification competed in the "play-in" round, a tournament modeled after the NBA play-in tournament. Club América, América defeated C.F. Monterrey, Monterrey 3–2 on aggregate to win their third straight title and sixteenth overall. As winners, América will face the Clausura 2025 champion at the 2025 Campeón de Campeones. José Salomón Rondón Giménez (; born 16 September 1989) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Liga MX club Pachuca and captains the Venezuela national team. Apertura 2022 Liga MX Final Phase
The Apertura 2022 Liga MX final phase was played between 8 October and 30 October 2022. A total of twelve teams competed in the final phase to decide the champions of the Apertura 2022 Liga MX season. For the fifth straight season, an additional qualifying round, the reclassification or ''repechaje'', was employed, which expanded the number of playoff spots to twelve. Both finalists qualified for the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup. Due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup being held in November and December, the Apertura 2022 regular season and final phase began earlier than previous seasons. As a result, the final was held on 30 October 2022 and not in the middle of December. Pachuca defeated Toluca 8–2 on aggregate to win their seventh league title.
