"City of Angels" is the eleventh episode of the fifth season of the American musical television series ''Glee'', and the ninety-ninth episode overall. Sam Evans
Sam Evans is a fictional character from the Fox musical comedy-drama series ''Glee''. The character is portrayed by actor Chord Overstreet, and appeared on ''Glee'' starting with the second season premiere episode entitled "Audition", first broadcast on September 21, 2010. Sam is a transfer student to William McKinley High School who becomes a member of the football team, as well as a member of the glee club, New Directions. In his first episode, Sam performs Travie McCoy's "Billionaire" with some of the guys in the glee club, but does not show up for tryouts due to the low social status of the club's members. Matthew James Morrison (born October 30, 1978) is an American actor, dancer and singer-songwriter, best known for his role as Will Schuester on the Fox television show ''Glee'' (2009–2015). He has starred in multiple Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including appearing as Link Larkin in the original Broadway cast of '' Hairspray'' (2002), Fabrizio Nacarelli in the original Broadway cast of the musical '' The Light in the Piazza'' (2005, for which he received a Tony Award nomination), and the starring role of J.M. Cory Monteith
Cory Allan Michael Monteith (; May 11, 1982 July 13, 2013) was a Canadian actor and musician who played Finn Hudson on the Fox television series ''Glee''. As an actor based in British Columbia, Monteith had minor roles on television series before being cast on ''Glee''. During his success on the show, he also acted in films. His film work included ''Monte Carlo'' and a starring role in '' Sisters & Brothers'' (both 2011). Monteith had a troubled adolescence involving substance abuse from age 13, and left school at age 16. After an intervention by family and friends, he entered drug rehabilitation at age 19.
