Citizen (film)
''Citizen'' is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Saravana Subbiah and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy. The film stars Ajith Kumar in dual roles with Meena, Vasundhara Das and Nagma playing supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Deva, and cinematography was handled by Ravi K. Chandran. The film was released theatrically on 9 June 2001 and became a blockbuster at the box-office. Plot Abdullah runs a motorcycle workshop with a few workers. He also gives casual legal advice to the locals. A computer science student named Indhu develops a crush on him and tries to woo him, although Abdullah has nothing of it. Saravana Subbiah is an Indian film director and actor, who has appeared in Tamil language films. He made his directorial debut with ''Citizen'' (2001), before making the romantic drama '' ABCD'' (2005). Devan Sreenivasan (born 8 January 1952) is an Indian film and television actor and politician. He is known for his character roles, mostly as villain, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and a few Kannada and Hindi films. He has starred in over 380 films. Pandurangan knows as P. Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamils, Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970). A Doctor of Philosophy graduate in arts from France, he was also a visual artist who founded Capital Letters, a graphic designing company. Pandiyan better known as Mann Vasanai Pandiyan (5 January 1960 – 10 January 2008) was an Indian actor and politician who acted in 112 films in lead roles from 1983 to 1991 and supporting roles from 1992 to 2003.
