Citing Sources
A citation is a reference to a source. More precisely, a citation is an abbreviated alphanumeric expression embedded in the body of an intellectual work that denotes an entry in the bibliographic references section of the work for the purpose of acknowledging the relevance of the works of others to the topic of discussion at the spot where the citation appears. Generally, the combination of both the in-body citation and the bibliographic entry constitutes what is commonly thought of as a citation (whereas bibliographic entries by themselves are not). Citations have several important purposes. Cessna Citation
The Cessna Citation is a family of business jets manufactured by Cessna that entered service in 1972. In the fifty years following the type's first flight in 1969, more than 7,500 Citations were delivered, forming the largest business jet fleet in the world. Deliveries reached 8,000 by 2022, while logging over 41 million flight hours. The line started with the small Cessna Citation I, Citation I prototype flying on September 15, 1969, and produced until 1985, developed into the 1978-2006 Cessna Citation II, Citation II/Bravo, the 1989-2011 Cessna Citation V, Citation V/Ultra/Encore and the Cessna CitationJet, CitationJet since 1993.
