Cinderella is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures' animated Cinderella (1950 film), film of the same name released in 1950. Voiced by Ilene Woods, the character is adapted from the Cinderella, character from folk tales, primarily the French version written by Charles Perrault in 1697.
