Cima Delle Stellune
Cima delle Stellune is a mountain of Trentino, Italy, with an elevation of . It is located in the Province of Trento, between the Brenta and Adige drainage basins (to the south-east and north-west, respectively). The peak is a renowned panoramic point as well as a tripoint between the municipalities of Cavalese (to the north), Castello-Molina di Fiemme (to the west), and Pieve Tesino (to the east and south-east). The small Busa snow field is located on the northern side of the Cima delle Stellune (Val Moena), the Stellune lake is located on the western side (Val delle Stue) and the small Buse Basse lakes are on the southern side (Val Sorda). Lagorai
The Lagorai is a mountain range in the Eastern Alps, in Trentino, northern Italy. It is located between the Monte Panarotta (16 km) from Trento and Rolle Pass, for a length of some 70 km. It is bounded southwards by the Valsugana, by the Val di Fiemme from the north, the Val di Cembra from the west and the Primiero and Vanoi eastwards. The chain is mostly made of porphyry rocks. It was the site of fierce mine warfare on the Italian Front in the First World War. The north-eastern part in the massif is part of the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park. Brenta (river)
The Brenta is an Italian river that runs from Trentino to the Adriatic Sea just south of the Venetian lagoon in the Veneto region, in the north-east of Italy. During the Roman era, it was called Medoacus (Ancient Greek: ''Mediochos'', ''Μηδειοχος'') and near Padua it divided in two branches, Medoacus Maior (Greater Medoacus) and Medoacus Minor (Lesser Medoacus). The river changed its course in the early Middle Ages, and its former bed through Padua was occupied by the Bacchiglione. It is long and was first channelled in the 16th century when a long canal was built from the village of Stra to the Adriatic Sea, bypassing the Venetian lagoon. Adige
The Adige is the second-longest river in Italy, after the Po. It rises near the Reschen Pass in the Vinschgau in the province of South Tyrol, near the Italian border with Austria and Switzerland, and flows through most of northeastern Italy to the Adriatic Sea. Cavalese
Cavalese (''Cavalés'' in local dialect, ''Gablöss'' in local german dialect) is a ''comune'' of 4,004 inhabitants in Trentino, northern Italy, a ski resort and the main center in the Fiemme Valley.
