Ross David Lee (born 21 August 1973) is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter. He is best known for his television shows ''Chute!'' (2007), ''Ross Lees Ghoulies'' (2008), and ''The Pranker'' (2011). TV career Lee's first television appearance was on ''Surf Potatoes'', a Channel 4 programme. Lee's appeared on the 'Prime Time' segment of Noel's House Party in 1996. He was given 60 seconds of prime time television to do a weather forecast from his bath at home, and the negative reception from the shows studio audience led to fellow Yorkshireman Richard Whiteley being dipped in gunge. Ross Lee's Ghoulies Lee was the host of ''Ross Lee's Ghoulies'', a horror-comedy themed Saturday morning studio-based show which began broadcasting on Sunday 28 September and ended 13 December 2008 on Nickelodeon UK. Leeds is a city in West Yorkshire, England. It is the largest settlement in Yorkshire and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds Metropolitan Borough, which is the second most populous district in the United Kingdom. It is built around the River Aire and is in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. The city was a small manorial borough in the 13th century and a market town in the 16th century. ''SMart'' was a British CBBC television programme based on art, which began in 1994 and ended in 2009. The programme was recorded at BBC Television Centre in London. Previously it had been recorded in Studio A at Pebble Mill Studios in Birmingham. The format is similar to the Tony Hart programmes '' Take Hart'' and '' Hartbeat''. The show was revamped into an hour-long show in 2007; from 1994 to 2006 it was previously a 25-minute show. From 1994 to 2005, the show also featured Morph, originally from ''Take Hart''. Hot Chip is an English synth-pop band formed in London in 2000. The group consists of multi-instrumentalists Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard (musician), Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Owen Clarke, and Felix Martin. They are occasionally joined by former member Rob Smoughton for live performances and studio recordings. The group primarily produces music in the synth-pop and alternative dance genres, drawing influences from house music, house and disco. "I Feel Better" is the second single released by Hot Chip from their fourth album, '' One Life Stand''. It was released on 19 April 2010. The song was later remixed with Will Oldham. ''Pants-Off Dance-Off'' (''PODO'') is a dance contest that premiered on April 18, 2006, on Fuse. It features stripteasers as they dance while disrobing. Format In each episode, five contestants striptease to a music video, while interviews, soundbites and photos reveal stories about each so-called "pancer". For the first two seasons, the audience selected each episode’s winner by texting their vote. The third season used a format where judges selected the weekly winner. Each episode's winner received $200 and the opportunity to compete in a championship at the end of the season. In October 2009 the show was launched in the UK on MTV's new channel Viva.
