Chuck Ragan
Charles Allen Ragan (born October 30, 1974) is an American singing, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is the guitarist and vocalist of the band Hot Water Music. Ragan has also released a variety of solo material, including a series of 7-inches on No Idea Records, a live album and three studio albums on Side One Dummy Records. Early and personal life Chuck Ragan is the son of former PGA Tour, PGA and Ryder Cup golfer Dave Ragan and gospel singer and missionary Geraldine Ragan. Ragan is married. He and his wife have a son who was born in May 2015. Hot Water Music From October 1994 until 2006 Ragan was one of the lead singers for Gainesville, Florida-based punk rock band Hot Water Music. Hot Water Music is an American punk rock band formed in October 1994 and based in Gainesville, Florida. Since their formation, the group has consisted of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard on shared lead vocals and guitars, bass guitarist Jason Black, and drummer George Rebelo. Since 2017, the band has also included guitarist-vocalist Chris Cresswell. The band initially broke up in August 1998, but reformed by October 1998. Dave Ragan
David William Ragan, Jr. (August 7, 1935 – March 13, 2018) was an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Senior PGA Tour. Ragan was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he played for the Florida Gators men's golf team in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) competition from 1954 to 1956. During his time as a Gator golfer, he was a member of the Gators team that finished sixth in the NCAA national tournament in 1955, and won the first two Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships in team history in 1955 and 1956. As a senior in 1956, he won the SEC individual championship, and was recognized as an All-American. Ragan was later inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame as a "Gator Great." Social Distortion
Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. It consists of Mike Ness (vocals, guitar), Jonny Wickersham (guitar), Brent Harding (bass), David Hidalgo Jr. (drums), and David Kalish (keyboards). The Gaslight Anthem is an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, formed in 2006. Francis Edward Turner (born 28 December 1981) is an English Punk rock, punk and Folk music, folk singer-songwriter from Meonstoke, Hampshire. He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. Rumbleseat was the acoustic-folk side project of Hot Water Music frontmen Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard, and Samantha Jones. Formed in 1998, Rumbleseat released four 7" records before releasing the full length album, 'Rumbleseat Is Dead', which was released in 2005. Rumbleseat is Dead Rumbleseat's only full length album, Rumbleseat is Dead, is a collection of songs from their four seven inch singles ''California Burritos, Picker, Saturn In Crosshairs,'' and ''Trestles'' as well as two songs from compilations, and four previously unreleased songs. The album didn't see its release until July 12, 2005, as the band was faced with delay after delay. One of these delays was a result of the Hurricane Gaston flood of Richmond, Virginia, where numerous recordings were damaged. The Draft (band)
The Draft are a band featuring Hot Water Music members Jason Black, George Rebelo and Chris Wollard. The band also features guitarist Todd Rockhill of Black Cougar Shock Unit, Discount and a host of other Gainesville, Florida based acts. The Draft formed soon after the departure of singer/guitarist Chuck Ragan from Hot Water Music. The three remaining members of the band wanted to continue making music together, but decided not to continue under the Hot Water Music name, choosing instead to start fresh.
