''Chrome'' is the seventh studio album by the Australian band The Screaming Jets. The album was announced in March 2016 along with a national tour in May. The band introduced some of the new tracks during their 2015 'Rock n Roll Rampage' tour. and said the new songs were "warmly embraced" by the fans. Band member Dave Gleeson said "We think this is probably as complete an album as we have ever done. It sits very well beside ''Tear of Thought'' There are plenty of different textures and great big fat rock songs, as well as some quiet moments. We hit the nail right on the head with this album of what the Jets sound like." The Screaming Jets are an Australian hard rock band formed in Newcastle, New South Wales from the band Aspect formed in high school by Grant, Dave, Frank Manitta and Grant Wiltshire (deceased) in 1984 which Paul Woseen was also a later member of. In 1989 The Screaming Jets were formed by Grant Walmsley, Dave Gleeson, Paul Woseen, Brad Heaney and Richard Lara. David Sean "Gleeso" Gleeson (born 3 June 1968) is the lead singer of Australian hard rock group The Screaming Jets. He was born in Newcastle, New South Wales and currently resides in Adelaide Hills, South Australia. With the death of Screaming Jets co-founder and bassist Paul Woseen, he is currently the only remaining original member of the band.
