Christopher Leone
Christopher Leone (born October 13, 1971) is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker with a background in visual effects and CG animation. Biography Leone wrote and directed the science-fiction film '' Parallels'' released by Fox Digital Studio on the Netflix streaming service in March 2015. Before that Leone directed two seasons of the digital series ''Suit Up'' and one season of ''Wolfpack of Reseda'', also for Fox Digital. Leone co-wrote and co-executive produced ''The Lost Room'', a mini-series for Syfy produced by Lionsgate Television, starring Peter Krause, Julianna Margulies, and Kevin Pollak. ''The Lost Room'' was created by Leone, Laura Harkcom, and Paul Workman and first aired in December 2006. Leone, Harkcom, and Workman were nominated for a Writers Guild Award in 2008. SXSW
South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. It began in 1987 and has continued to grow in both scope and size every year. In 2017, the conference lasted for 10 days with the interactive track lasting for five days, music for seven days, and film for nine days. There was no in-person event in 2020 and 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Austin, Texas; both years, there was a smaller online event instead. Current TV was an American television channel which broadcast from August 1, 2005, to August 20, 2013. Prior INdTV founders Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, with Ronald Burkle, each held a sizable stake in Current TV. Comcast and DirecTV each held a smaller stake. The channel started out as a user-generated content channel with content made by viewers in 15-minute blocks. The channel later switched formats to become an independent news network aimed at progressive politics. Neither format brought the success that Gore and Hyatt had wanted. ''Bar Karma'' is the first online community-developed network television series. Online users pitch their own ideas for scenes and twists online, using a tool designed by Will Wright called the Storymaker. Some are eventually chosen by the production staff, and are utilized to help create a new episode every week. The main plot revolves around a bar known as "Bar Karma", a bar that resides someplace in between parallel timelines. Up until now, the typical structure of the shows consists of a patron accidentally walking into or being transported to the bar, where they are shown the consequences of their current life actions, and the potential outcomes for their behavior and choices. CineVegas was a film festival held annually at the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada that ran from 1999 to 2009, typically in early June. CineVegas was originally held at Bally's.
