Christine Davis
Christine Davis (born January 24, 1962) is a Canadian artist from Vancouver. She currently lives and works in New York. She grew up in Prince George, Ann Arbor, Lusaka and Toronto. After graduating from York University (Toronto), she attended the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris. She has served on the Board of Directors of The Power Plant (Toronto) and YYZ Artists' Outlet (Toronto). As a founding editor of the interdisciplinary journal Public: Art/Culture/Ideas, her editorial work intersects with the research driving her practice. Moving fluidly between film, photography, drawing, sculpture and video, her work often incorporates archival material to arrive at a prismatic view of the present and address core issues of our time. Busytown Mysteries
''Busytown Mysteries'', also known as ''Hurray for Huckle!'', is a Canadian animated television series created by Cookie Jar Entertainment. Currently, the series airs in Canada as part of the Kids' CBC block and on the Tiny Pop channel in the United Kingdom. In the United States, the show was originally going to be on Qubo, but it aired as part of the Cookie Jar TV block on CBS instead, and then returned to the United States on Starz. Season one was directed by Ken Cunningham and produced by Christine Davis. Animation for season one was produced by Helix Digital inc. Post production was handled by Fearless Films and Supersonics Productions inc. ''Stepfather III'' (also known as ''Stepfather III: Father's Day'') is a 1992 American thriller film directed and written by Guy Magar. It stars Robert Wightman, Priscilla Barnes, David Tom, and Season Hubley. It is the second sequel to 1987 film '' The Stepfather'' and a follow up to 1989 film ''Stepfather II.'' Anne-Christine Davis
Anne-Christine Davis is a British theoretical physicist at the University of Cambridge. She was the first woman to be appointed a professor in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University. Her research mainly concerns cosmology, astrophysics and string theory. Davis was a graduate student at Bristol University, under the supervision of W. Noel Cottingham. She obtained her doctorate in 1975. Following postdoctoral positions at Durham University and Imperial College London, Davis worked overseas at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland (where she became the first female theoretician) and at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. Since 1983 she has held positions at DAMTP, Cambridge, and King's College, Cambridge.
