The Town of Christiana is located in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,235 at the 2020 census. It is named after Oslo, Norway (formerly Christiania) and has one of the highest Norwegian Americans#Communities by percentage of Norwegians, percentages of Norwegian ancestry in the United States. The unincorporated community of Utica and the village of Rockdale, Wisconsin, Rockdale are located within the town. The village of Cambridge, Wisconsin, Cambridge is located partly within the Town. Christiana Hundred is an unincorporated subdivision of New Castle County, Delaware. Hundreds were once used as a basis for representation in the Delaware General Assembly, and while their names still appear on all real estate transactions, they presently have no meaningful use or purpose except as a geographical point of reference. Boundaries and formation Christiana Hundred is that portion of New Castle County that lies north of the Christina River and White Clay Creek, west of the Brandywine Creek and east of the Red Clay Creek, excepting that portion in the southeast included in Wilmington Hundred. Its northern boundary follows a portion of the 12 mile arc drawn around the town of New Castle. In 1851, it was the site of the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania#Slavery and the Christiana incident, Battle of Christiana, also called the Christiana riot. Christiana () is a group of three volcanic Greek islands in the Cyclades. Christiana is an agricultural town of about 3,000 inhabitants on the banks of the Vaal River in North West province, South Africa. The town is located on the N12 national route between Bloemhof and Warrenton, on the way to Kimberley (Northern Cape). It is the administrative centre and seat of Lekwa-Teemane Local Municipality.
